Susie (Dakota Johnson) is a young dancer brimming with ambition. She leaves the countryside of Ohio for Berlin, to go and study at the highly prestigious Markos dance academy. Soon, artistic director Madam Blanc (Tilda Swinton) cherishes her above all other students. More and more students seem to dissapear mysteriously, and Susie slowly falls under Madam Blanc’s hypnotic spell. Will Susie be able to unravel the dark mysteries of the academy before it is too late?
Suspiria is the newest film of acclaimed director Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, A Bigger Splash, I Am Love), and a remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 cult classic. With Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, Mia Goth, Chloë Grace Moretz and Renée Soutendijk, Suspiria has a terrific female cast. The soundtrack is composed by Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke.

That way, people from all over the world who would like to go to the cinema but feel inhibited, either because they cannot understand the spoken language or do not have a sufficient understanding of the Dutch language to read the subtitles, will still be able to enjoy the films we screen.
