Documentary, with amazing visuals, about New Delhi, where the future that climate change will bring us can already be felt and seen in many ways.

Nothing is like it was before. It doesn’t rain anymore and the drought and heat plague farmers and people in the cities. But when it rains, it doesn’t stop and streets become rivers and fields become seas. Pollution, partially caused by relocating production from the West to India, has incredibly strongly increased in a short time. The price for economic profit is really expensive here.

Niets is meer zoals het altijd was. Het regent niet meer en de droogte en hitte teistert de boeren en stedelingen. Maar als het dan regent, stopt het niet meer en zijn de straten als rivieren en de akkers als zeeën. De vervuiling, deels veroorzaakt vanwege de verplaatsing van productie van het Westen naar India, is in bijzonder korte tijd overweldigend toegenomen. De prijs voor economische groei is hier wel heel hoog.
