River

Film

“To think like a river, means to dream downstream in time. To imagine what will flow far in the future from our actions in the present. To be good ancestors for those who come after us. Downstream of us. Look after the river and the river will look after you.”

A wonderful cinematic and musical odyssey that studies the special relationship between rivers and humanity. Written by Robert McFarlane, with voiceover by Willem Dafoe and music performed by Richard Tognetti and the Australian Chamber Orchestra with tracks by Jonny Greenwood and Radiohead.
