Artistiek leider Conny Janssen, een van de meest toonaangevende choreografen in Nederland, selecteert elke editie in samenwerking met Dansateliers en Korzo een bijzondere verscheidenheid aan talent. In DANSLOKAAL 11 zijn dat Rutkay Özpinar (Korzo), het duo Marta & Kim (Dansateliers) en Patricia van Deutekom (Conny Janssen Danst). De jonge makers krijgen de kans om binnen de professionele context van het gezelschap te werken aan de ontwikkeling van hun eigen signatuur. Het resultaat is een verrassende voorstelling met drie nieuwe werken, gemaakt voor én met de dansers van Conny Janssen Danst.

DANSLOKAAL is het jaarlijkse talentontwikkelingsproject van Conny Janssen Danst, waarbij talentvolle makers uitgenodigd worden om nieuw werk te ontwikkelen met de dansers van het Rotterdamse gezelschap.

Conny Janssen Danst provides opportunities for young talent through DANSLOKAAL, the talent development project where young artists are invited to develop new work together with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst.

In its annual DANSLOKAAL the dance company opens its doors to a varied group of creative artists. For each event artistic director Conny Janssen, one of the leading choreographers in the Netherlands, selects promising choreographers with diverse backgrounds in collaboration with Dansateliers and Korzo. The contributors to DANSLOKAAL 11 are Rutkay Özpinar (Korzo), the duo Marta & Kim (Dansateliers) and Patricia van Deutekom (Conny Janssen Danst). In DANSLOKAAL they get the opportunity to work on the development of their own signature within the professional context of the company. The result is a surprising dance evening with three new pieces, created for and with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst.
