Bloody Bills
Have you ever wondered where your hard-earned money is going? As part of the Nimma aan Zee – F*ck Capitalism project at LUX, we aim to confront the consumers about what their spending habits fuel.
While the blame is often shifted towards the individual, we try to shed light on the real “bad guys” – the major firms in the tech sector. What company is still employing child labor in this day and age? Which CEO earns more in a minute than the average worker does in a year? Feel free to take a closer look at the bloody bills and discover the atrocities behind the biggest tech corporations.
Who are we?
We are a group of students from Radboud University who chose to participate in the Honours Programme for a variety of reasons. What drew us to this specific programme was its interdisciplinary nature it offered us the unique opportunity to collaborate with students from diverse academic backgrounds and explore new ideas together. As part of the Honours Programme, we were tasked with developing a project based on something we are passionate about. The exhibition you see here at LUX is the result of that passion, as well as the hardwork we have dedicated over the past six months. From brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to traveling abroad insearch of inspiration, every step ofthe journey has shaped this final product. We are proud to share the out comeof our efforts and hope it resonates with you as much as it does with us.
