Two longtime friends have shared a holiday home in the Austrian Alps for years. But when their teenage daughters are involved in an accident during a joint vacation, the friendship rapidly begins to unravel. Frustration and despair drive the parents further apart when they learn that one daughter can be saved—but only if the other is sacrificed.
